Piñata Pointers Make your piñatas great with these crafty tips! Shimmer Ball Ornament
Gather
- 3-inch Styrofoam ball
- colored sequins
- 2 packages straight pins with colored heads
- 1/4 inch ribbon
- paint (optional)

Go
- Paint the ball any color you wish and let dry.
- Push a pin through hole in sequin and into the ball.
Repeat until you are happy with the pattern.
- For a hanger, cut ribbon about 8 inches and pin
ends to top of ball.

Sculpy Wreath
Gather
- green and red Sculpy clay
- white or silver paper clips
- black permanent fine-point marker
- wreath cookie cutter
- mini-heart cookie cutter

Go
- Roll out green clay to 1/4-inch thick. (You may
need to work clay to soften.)
- Use cookie cutter to cut clay into wreath shape.
- Form tiny holly leaves with green clay, and make
holly berries with red clay. Attach clusters of berries and
leaves to wreath.
- Cut out a red clay heart and attach to the bottom
center of wreath.
- For a hanger, push a paper clip into top of wreath.
- Bake at 350 F for 12 to 15 minutes.
- Clay should be firm but not brittle when done.
- Let wreath cool, then write a message on the heart.

Reindeer Ornament
Gather
- three Popsicle sticks
- brown acrylic paint
- small red pom-pom
- two craft eyes
- 1/4-inch red ribbon
- artificial pine greenery

Go
- Paint Popsicle sticks brown and let dry.
- Glue sticks together to form a triangle.
- Flip the triangle upside down so that the point is at
the bottom.
- Glue red pom-pom to the point of the upside down
triangle for nose.
- Glue eyes 1 1/2 inches apart on the top horizontal
Popsicle stick.
- For antlers, glue the greenery to the back of the
triangle behind eyes.
- To create a hanger, cut 8-inch piece of ribbon and
knot ends. Glue to back of triangle.
