based on Luke 19:1-10

Hi, Martha!
A miracle maker named Jesus is coming to Jericho tomorrow. The streets are already crowded. I hope to meet him and ask him to make me grow at least 2 feet. Will write soon about what happens.
Lovingly,
P.S. Maybe next time I’ll be “Tall-y.”

Hi there, Shorty (or Tall-y?!),
Hope you met the miracle maker yesterday! Did he make you tall? I can’t wait to hear what happened.
Regards,
To: martha@bethanymail.com
Dear Martha,
I am still Shorty. But I feel tall. I met the miracle maker! His name is Jesus. The roads were very crowded, and I had to climb a tree to see him.
Many were shouting as he went along. When he came by, he raised his head, looked at me and asked me to come down. I nearly jumped. He gave me the shock of my life when he said he wanted to eat at my place!
I led him to my home and tried my best to be a good host. And believe it or not, I opened my mouth and confessed my past ugly life to him and assured him that I would give half my wealth to the poor, and return four times the money to those I cheated. The past two days, I have been busy keeping that promise. You know, Martha, I am very, very happy. I really mean it. He did a miracle in me.
Sincerely Yours,
Chrisjit X., 11
