Yesterday my tomato plants bloomed! Isn’t that totally awesome? Oh Sister, life is much harder here. No one wants to listen to what I have to say about God. How’s your husband? I hope his wheat is doing okay.

Dear Jonah,

Where are you? It has been a month since my last letter. I’m getting worried.

Dear Sarah,

You won’t believe what happened! God told me to go to Nineveh, the capital of the Assyrian empire and one of the most wicked cities on earth! Needless to say, I didn’t want to go. I hightailed it out of there and headed to Tarshish. Well, I learned an important lesson: Never run from God.

There was a huge storm! The only thing I remember is waking up when I fell out of bed. I went on deck to see what was going on. Then it came to me: God is everywhere!

"Throw me overboard!" I blurted.

Everybody looked at me kind of funny, but they soon realized that they had no alternative, so they threw me overboard. The water was cold, freezing cold.

Then all of a sudden, I could breathe! It was totally dark, but I started feeling the "walls." Soon I realized I was in a huge fish!

I prayed to God to forgive me. I was so thankful and humbled that He had saved me. After three days, the fish started to make gurgly noises, and I was spit up on a beach! I’m on my way to Nineveh now. I love you.
