Sometimes God asks people to do incredible things! And He helps His followers in marvelous ways! Go ahead. Take a look for yourself.One time, God told a man to take his soldiers into battle armed with trumpets and water pitchers!

Gideon obeyed God.

Gideon and his army of 300 men broke their water pitchers, played their trumpets and defeated an army of thousands! Judges 7:8-22 God told a boy's parents that he must never, ever get a haircut!

Samson obeyed God.

Samson became a powerful man of God who defeated 1,000 enemies with just a bone in his hand and picked up a giant gate from the city! Judges 15:13-15; 16:3 God told a man to build a very large boat and to put his whole family in it, along with hundreds of animals.

Noah obeyed God.

God made it rain and flooded the whole world. But Noah and his family—and all the animals—floated in the boat. They were saved! Genesis 6:9-9:17 God told a desert shepherd to free a million slaves from Egypt!

Moses obeyed God.

Moses didn’t think he could do it, but God used miracles and helped him free the Israelites from Egypt! Exodus 7-12:31-42 God told the Isrealite priests to stand in a river when it was flooding!

The priests obeyed God.

They took the Arc of the covenant with them into the Jordan River. As soon as their feet touched the water, the river stopped and the people crossed over on dry land! Joshua 3:7-17 To conquer the city of Jericho, God commanded the Israelites to march around its walls seven times without saying a single word!

The Israelites obeyed God.

They marched around Jericho. On the seventh day, God told them to shout and blow some trumpets really loud. They did. And the walls fell down — KABOOM! Joshua 6:1-20 Jesus told a fisherman to get out of his boat and walk on the water!

Peter obeyed God.

He walked on the water. Peter only began to sink when he took his eyes off Jesus! Matthew 14:25-32
