Flower Power

Gather
- pencil
- scratch paper
- scissors
- cardstock or blank note card
- colored paper
- small hole punch
- decorative brad
Go
- Sketch a simple flower petal on a piece of scratch paper and cut it out for a pattern.
- Accordion-fold a colored piece of paper four times, making your folds as wide as the flower petal pattern.
- Lay the petal on top of the folded paper and cut around it. You should get five petals.
- Roll each petal around a pencil to create a curl.
- Stack them together and punch a hole through the narrow ends of the petals.
- Put the brad through the hole and then through the center of the front of the card. Fasten on inside of card.
- Fan out the curled petals.
