1. Cut white card stock into quarters.

2. Fill pie pan with water and vinegar.

3. Use plastic knife to gently shave two or three different colors of chalk onto the surface of the water.

4. Lay one piece of white card stock on the surface of the water and gently move it around until chalk sticks to paper.

5. Remove paper before it gets too wet and lay it flat on a paper towel.

6. For quick drying, ask an adult to place the marbled card stock between paper towels and iron it without steam.

7. If you have more time, place marbled card stock between paper towels and place a heavy book on top. Let dry overnight.

8. While your paper is drying, fold a piece of colored card stock in half. Cut to any size that is larger than your cookie cutters.

9. Place a cookie cutter on top of dry marbled card stock and trace around cutter with a pencil.

10. Cut out pattern and glue to your folded card.

11. Decorate card with ribbon or jewels and write a message to Mom on the inside.
