My Hero Sandwich

 

 

 

 

 

Gather

  • 1 loaf of French bread
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • Italian dressing
  • mustard
  • mayonnaise
  • lettuce
  • 1/4 pound each sliced cheese, ham, turkey and salami


Go
  1. Ask a parent to cut bread in half lengthwise and slice tomatoes and pepper.
  2. On one side of bread, spread Italian dressing, mustard and mayonnaise.
  3. On the other side of bread, arrange lettuce and tomato slices.
  4. Add cheese, ham, turkey, salami and bell pepper rings and place top on sandwich.
  5. Cut sandwich crosswise into four sections.
  6. Serve with chips and a pickle, and remind Dad that he's your hero.
