My Hero Sandwich

Gather
- 1 loaf of French bread
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 green bell pepper
- Italian dressing
- mustard
- mayonnaise
- lettuce
- 1/4 pound each sliced cheese, ham, turkey and salami
Go
- Ask a parent to cut bread in half lengthwise and slice tomatoes and pepper.
- On one side of bread, spread Italian dressing, mustard and mayonnaise.
- On the other side of bread, arrange lettuce and tomato slices.
- Add cheese, ham, turkey, salami and bell pepper rings and place top on sandwich.
- Cut sandwich crosswise into four sections.
- Serve with chips and a pickle, and remind Dad that he's your hero.
