Camouflage Bandana
Gather
  • old white T-shirt (your dad might have one you can cut up)
  • scissors
  • leftover red, yellow, blue and green egg dye
  • three empty cups
  • measuring spoons
  • cookie sheet or cardboard
Go
  1. Cut a 20-inch square of fabric from T-shirt.
  2. Mix leftover egg dye in the empty cups to make these colors:
    • khaki-Mix 2 tablespoons yellow, 1 teaspoon red and 1 teaspoon blue.
    • brown- Mix 1 tablespoon yellow, 1 tablespoon red and 1 tablespoon blue.
    • olive green-Mix 1 tablespoon yellow, 1 teaspoon red, 1 teaspoon blue and 1 teaspoon green.
  3. Lay the fabric on a cookie sheet or cardboard to protect work surface from stains. You may want to do this craft outside.
  4. Use a measuring spoon to drip on the colors until it looks like camouflage.
  5. Let it dry, then blend right in with your camouflage gear.
