Go
- Make snowflakes with the tissue paper squares by
folding them, cutting out different shapes and unfolding
them.
- Mix a little water in the glue. Use the paintbrush to
spread it evenly on the outside of the jar.
- Press the tissue snowflakes to the jar. (You can
overlap the edges to cover the jar completely.) Let the
glue dry.
- Brush an even layer of glue over the snowflakes. If
you want some sparkle, add a little glitter to the glue.
Let it dry. Make more stained-glass luminaries by
following the above steps.
- Pour about an inch of kitty litter or sand in each jar,
and put in a candle. When night falls, have an adult
light the candles and decorate the outdoors.
