Gather
  • plastic craft lacing (also known as gimp or rexlace)
  • scissors
  • clipboard
Go
  1. From one color of craft lace, cut two pieces about the length of your arm.
  2. Cut a third piece twice as long as the others from a different color.
  3. Tie the pieces together at one end, leaving extra lacing behind the knot.
  4. Put the tied knot under the clip on the clipboard.
  5. Place the long piece to one side. Then bring the long piece over the first short piece and under the second short piece.
  6. Repeat the previous step, going the other way to make a zipper pattern.
  7. Keep going back and forth until your bracelet is long enough.
  8. Make a knot at the finished end and you're done.
  9. Wear your creation in the lake, pool or bath-- because it's waterproof!
