Wild and Free

by Savannah, 12, from British Columbia

Thundering hooves sound far and near,
The wild eyes ne'er saw fear,
Bit or shoe never touched this folk,
Their language no other ever spoke,
Fast as the wind, bold as day,
Always forging their own way,
Wild and free they’ll always be.
