MPAA Rating: PG
A lonely, Christmas-hating green called The Grinch lives atop an icy mountain. After watching Whoville citizens happily celebrate with wuzzles and farflooters, The Grinch decides to destroy or snatch every sign and symbol of holiday cheer. But little Cindy Lou Who and the community of Whoville melt the Grinch's cold heart.
A young girl believes the best of the mean, old Grinch inspiring the residents of Whoville to not only invite him to their celebration, but to make him honorary Cheer-meister. Cindy Lou seeks to understand the nasty ol’ Grinch, and when her kindness appears to have backfired, her dad shows pride in her just the same. The Grinch’s change of heart reminds viewers that even the hardest heart can be turned around by love, and he does the right thing by rescuing Cindy Lou from danger. But not a word about the true Christmas story, and some crude language filters in. A few gross scenes with gags that go over the top will have a viewers turning away. The Grinch is still a fun story, but much of this movie is rather dreary. Not quite the Christmas story most Christians are looking for.
