Aladdin and the King of Thieves

MPAA Rating: G
Distributor: Disney
Actors: Robin Williams as the genie and many others.

Aladdin and Princess Jasmine are preparing to wed. Aladdin isn't sure he's ready to start a family; he doesn't feel like he's good enough. Then he learns that his absentee dad, Cassim, is alive and leading a well-known band of thieves on a quest for hidden treasure. Aladdin risks everything to change his dad's evil ways, and Cassim realizes his son is more precious than gold.

This film is full of action, humor and romance. It also presents marriage in a good way, encourages forgiveness, condemns greed and takes a close look at the bond between father and son. Only one drawback which is an all-powerful, ever-present oracle that is not the one true God. Kids might want to talk to Mom or Dad about that.
