MPAA Rating:G
Bean attracts trouble like milk attracts cats. And when
he wins a vacation to Paris, it doesn't take long for the
awkward Englishman to start wreaking havoc. He spills
cappuccino on the laptop of a sleeping businessman.
He dumps a pile of slimy oysters into a woman's
handbag. He creates a traffic nightmare by marching
through busy intersections, oblivious to the cars
screeching to a halt all around him.
Bean goes too far, though, when he accidentally
causes a Russian film director to miss his train,
separating the man from his young son, Stepan. The
rest of the movie follows Stepan and Mr. Bean as they
attempt to reunite the boy with his father. Along the way,
Bean gets locked in an outhouse, plays air guitar, sticks
matches in his eyes, ruins a yogurt commercial and
(perhaps) finds true love.
With no offensive material to speak of, Mr. Bean's
Holiday feels like an old silent film, complete with over-
the-top facial expressions and corny accidents. In short,
it is a feel-good misadventure story appropriate for all
ages.
Distributor:Universal Studios

de Caunes as Sabine, Max Baldry as Stepan and
