Enchanted

MPAA Rating:PG
Distributor:Walt Disney / Buena Vista
Director:Kevin Lima
Starring:Amy Adams as Giselle, Patrick Dempsey as Robert, James Marsden as Prince Edward, Susan Sarandon as Queen Narissa, Timothy Spall as Nathaniel and Rachel Covey as Morgan.

Giselle is a beautiful fairytale princess who meets and falls in love with the dashing Prince Edward. They decide to marry the next day. When Edward's wicked mother, Queen Narissa, discovers their engagement, she is outraged and banishes Giselle to a dirty and scary place—New York City.

Confused and distraught, Giselle is rescued by Robert, a divorce lawyer, and his young daughter, Morgan. When Prince Edward learns that Giselle is gone, he follows her into the city to rescue her. The Queen then sends a henchman named Nathaniel to get rid of Giselle before Edward can save her.

Giselle is innocent and kind. Prince Edward is also brave and valiant. Enchanted frowns on divorce and encourages people to see love as more than just a feeling. The good characters are very good but the evil characters are pretty rough at times, especially the evil Queen Narissa. There are a few scenes with violence, as well as some name-calling.

Enchanted is a movie with charming songs, noble heroes and an overall warm feeling.
