Meet Dave

Dave is a stranger in New York City who is determined to learn the ways of its citizens and blend in. But blending in is tough when you're a robot. “Dave” isn't a person at all, but a starship carrying a crew of miniature human-like people from the planet Nil. Their ship looks like its captain, and their mission is to save their dying planet by finding a small orb previously sent to earth to suck its oceans dry.

The orb, it turns out, landed in the hands of a young boy named Josh. And it's not long before Dave meets him, courtesy of Josh's mother, Gina. As they get to know humans, the tiny beings begin to think about whether earth's people really deserve total destruction. Meanwhile, the ship's second-in-command, known only as No. 2, plots a mutiny.

Friendship and heroism are positive themes from this movie. However, it also has some scenes containing bad language, violence and inappropriate romantic comments. Clubhouse kids may want to think twice before they Meet Dave.
