New Kids' Radio Shows Revealed!
John Whittaker announced that Kids’ Radio will unveil a new lineup of radio programs, beginning next month. Here are some of the highlights:

Candid Conversations With Connie
While not a new program, Candid Conversations remains very popular and continues to entertain Odyssey residents with its variety of timely guests. But host Connie Kendall isn’t content with her success. “I’m thinking about starting a second program,” she says. “Now I just need to figure out what it will be about.”

Talk@Alex
Alex Jefferson chats about the latest news in computers and cyberspace. Jefferson says much of the lingo on the show will sound like an Internet chat. For example, instead of saying, “That’s funny,” guests will say, “L-O-L,” which means, “laughing out loud.” And before a commercial, Alex will say, “B-R-B,” which means, “be right back.”

This Old Squeegee
Bernard Walton hosts this unique look at home repair and maintenance. “We’ll be focusing on the tools of the trade,” Walton says. “People look down on the janitorial arts, but just imagine what the world would look like through dirty windows.”

Blackgaard’s Best of the Box Office
Edwin Blackgaard reviews the latest movies. “I base my reviews on a combination of factors,” Blackgaard says, “including length, depth of drama and whether they use the proper pronunciation of Old English. It’s a very complex system.” Reportedly, Blackgaard has yet to give any film higher than a two-star rating (out of 104).
