| This Thanksgiving Ed Washington decided
his family needed to do something different.
He wanted to go all out, so he ordered an
award-winning turkey from Gobble, Gobble
Goodstuff. The day before Thanksgiving, the Washingtons were eagerly anticipating the turkey’s arrival. “I was so excited. I couldn’t eat for two days before it came,” Marvin said. When the special delivery arrived on Wednesday, the Washingtons discovered that the turkey they ordered was bigger than they ever expected. Mrs. Washington screamed with delight as she opened the crate. “It was the best Thanksgiving turkey we’ve ever gotten,” she said. “It was such a big surprise!” Tamika, the youngest of the Washington family, said, “We read on the crate, ‘Hope you enjoy Henrietta.’ And that’s exactly what we plan to do! I’m so excited that we have a new pet!” The Washingtons’ new pet turkey has already become a member of the family. “Tamika insisted that we include her in our family picture, and we couldn’t disagree,” Elaine said. “I think we’ll have to teach her some tricks,” Marvin added. “She really listens when I say, ‘Henrietta, don’t stay!’ “
