| Q. |
My sister and I share a room. She always plays her radio. What should I do? Christy, 10 Colorado |
| A. | Since you share a room, it seems compromising is the only solution. When you need to have peace and quiet, you could find another place to study and read. If you want to hang out in your room, talk with your sister and see if there’s some music you both like. Maybe she’d be willing to play a different radio station or CD. You could also politely ask her to turn down the tunes or even turn them off on certain occasions. If those ideas don’t work, your sister may need to purchase some headphones. That way she’ll be able to enjoy her music without bothering anyone. |
