| Q. |
My mom seems to suddenly be cross. She yells at me, and she won’t tell me what’s wrong. I don’t know what to do.

Parents aren’t perfect. Sometimes they go through stressful times. Your mom’s mood may have nothing to do with you. Don’t lose heart! First, make a date to talk to your mom. Set it up in advance, so you don’t catch her at a bad time. Sit down and calmly explain how you’re feeling. Chances are your mom will understand and want to help make your relationship better. Second, look for ways to show your mom love. Help out around the house. Remember that even if your mom yells at you sometimes, she still loves you. Make sure she knows you love her, too! |
