| Q. |
There’s a girl in my class who always brags when she gets A’s or wins a game. It makes me feel bad. Is there anything I can do?
LeAnn, 10 Kansas |
| A. | You can rejoice with her. It may not be the easiest thing to do, but God calls us to be happy with those who are happy and sad with those who are sad. Read Romans 12:9-16 for the full scoop on how Paul instructs us to treat others. Your classmate might seem overly proud of her achievements, but getting your attention—and everyone else’s—is just a way for her to feel important. When she lets you know how well she’s done, you have the perfect chance to let her know how important she is to the heavenly Father. Boast about God’s love by treating her with patience and acceptance. |
