| Q. |
This girl in my class cheats off my paper. She always acts perfect, and it makes me mad. What should I do? Tiffany, 12 Montana |
| A. |
As you’ve probably discovered, getting angry doesn’t really help the situation. The best thing to do is stop the problem at its source. Next time you’re working on an assignment or test, position your paper so this girl can’t see it. Maybe you can block her view with your arm or body, then it won’t be a temptation for her to peek at your answers. You can also talk to this person quietly and ask her not to look at your desk. If the problem continues, see your teacher after class and share your concerns with her. Your teacher has probably dealt with similar things before. And no matter what, don’t forget to control your temper and treat this girl with love and kindness (Ephesians 4:31-32). |
