| Q. |
Every year my school has a talent show. I think I have great singing ability, but I'm too shy to sing! I know that God says He gives us gifts, but I don't know where to use mine.

It’s wonderful that you want to use your talent to serve God. He encourages us to use our gifts for His glory. Going solo in front of a large group can be scary. So start small: sing for your family. Once you’re comfortable doing that, try singing for your Sunday school class or another small group. Also find out if your church has a children’s choir. Singing in a group allows you to use your gift without the pressure of standing alone. Keep on singing and someday you may feel confident enough to share your talent during a school performance. |
