Q. I'm working on getting a group of Christians together to spread the gospel. But we aren’t supposed to have prayer or religious activities at school. Help!!!

A. Getting out the gospel is a great goal! In Mark 16:15 Jesus says, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.” School is a perfect place to start; you just need to know your rights!

According to the U.S. Department of Education, students have the right to talk about their faith, pray and even give out Christian literature, like tracts or Bibles, at school. Students may also meet for Bible studies if the school allows other extracurricular clubs. For more information on your rights, go to www.aclj.org.

Ask your parents or a Christian teacher to help you look into starting an after-school Bible club at your school. Or, if you can’t meet with your friends during the day, consider inviting them to a Bible study at your house in the evening. Most importantly, make your relationship with God an everyday part of your life. Talk about Him with your unsaved friends. No one can stop you from sharing your faith.
