Sweet Pumpkin Pizza
Gather
  • 1 package (18 ounces) refrigerated sugar cookie dough
  • 1 cup pumpkin
  • 1 package (3 ounces) softened cream cheese
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 small green apple—peeled, cored and thinly sliced
  • dash of cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons caramel syrup
  • vanilla ice cream (optional)
Go
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F and grease a 12-inch pizza pan.
  2. Press cookie dough into an 8-inch circle on the pizza pan.
  3. Bake for 16 to 18 minutes or until light golden brown. Remove from oven and prick all over with a fork. Cool on pan.
  4. Combine pumpkin, cream cheese, 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon in small bowl. Mix until smooth.
  5. Spread mixture over crust, but leave a 1-inch edge. Mix apple slices with remaining sugar and a dash of cinnamon in small bowl.
  6. Arrange apples on pizza and sprinkle with nuts.
  7. Bake for 7 to 9 minutes. Remove from oven and drizzle with caramel topping.
  8. Cut into wedges and serve warm with ice cream.
