Crispy Apple Surprise
Gather
  • 4 apples
  • 8 caramels, unwrapped
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons butter
Go
  1. Cut apples in half.
  2. Scoop out the core with a spoon, but don’t go through to the bottom.
  3. Press a caramel into the center of each apple.
  4. Place apples in a baking pan.
  5. In a medium bowl, pinch together flour, oats, sugar and butter. Top each apple with some of the mixture.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 F until tops are lightly brown.
  7. Let cool for 10 minutes and serve warm.
