Fried Dumplings
Gather
- 1 cup cabbage
- 1 teaspoon mashed ginger
- 1 teaspoon mashed garlic
- 2 cups ground pork
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- wonton wraps
- bowl of cool water
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- (For dumpling sauce:) 1 cup soy sauce
- a pinch sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons sugar

Go
- Cut cabbage into tiny thin strips.
- Mash the ginger and garlic. Mix together with
cabbage, ground pork and soy sauce.
- Place a teaspoon of the meat mixture into each
wonton.
- Wrap each wonton, using water to seal the edges.
- Ask a parent to place dumplings in a pan with hot
vegetable oil. Fry until meat is thoroughly cooked (three
to four minutes on each side).
- Serve with dumpling sauce!
