You can make legs, ears or animal tails from paper towel tubes, paper plates, cardboard or rolled up newspaper. Just tape these items where you want them on your balloon and use two or three layers of papier- mâché to hold them in place. To create the appearance or feathers or fur, make cuts into the tissue paper before gluing it to your creation. Homemade eyes and yarn work well for creating a funny face.

To play:
With an adult's help, hang piñata securely and spread a sheet under it. Blindfold the first player and give him a bat or stick. Spin him two or three times and point him in the direction of the piñata. Each player gets three hits to try to break the piñata. When the piñata breaks, players scramble for candy and prizes.
