Crispy Apple Surprise

- 4 apples
- 8 caramels, unwrapped
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 4 tablespoons butter
Go
- Cut apples in half.
- Scoop out the core with a spoon, but don’t go through to the bottom.
- Press a caramel into the center of each apple.
- Place apples in a baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, pinch together flour, oats, sugar and butter. Top each apple with some of the mixture.
- Bake for 30 minutes at 350 F until tops are lightly brown.
- Let cool for 10 minutes and serve warm.
