Comfy Cozy Chai

Gather

  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 4 black tea bags
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 cups milk

Go

  1. In a medium-sized pot, bring the water to a boil.
  2. Add honey, tea, vanilla and spices.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Remove tea bags, add milk and warm to a near boil.
  5. Remove from heat and serve in Mom’s favorite mug.
