Icy Landing

Last winter we had an ice storm. The first day it started snowing at noon, and it snowed and sleeted for the rest of the day. The next morning I woke up and looked out the window. I saw icicles on the trees.

Later when I was watching television, I heard a thump! I looked outside but didn’t see anything. But when my dad and I were looking out the window, he saw a tree lying across our driveway! We were so thankful it didn’t fall on our house. Our neighbor called and said a limb had fallen on our van, but it just made a little dent. We were very thankful God saved us.
