Rocket Danger

Last Fourth of July, something very scary happened! A family with a few-weeks-old baby named Sophie had come to see the fireworks with everybody at our friend’s house.

“Here goes another rocket!” my friend Eddie said.

He lit it and a few seconds later the rocket went zooming off—in the direction of the baby! The rocket landed on the ground and blew up. The sparks got so close to Sophie that it burned a hole in her burp rag! God definitely protected Sophie. It would be scary to think of what could have happened to her. I’m glad God protects us and watches us every day.
