Matthew Parker's Decoder #2012-2

You’ll love this code! Here it is again:

How It Works:

To break this code, you need to determine the value of each group of hearts. For example, a big, clear heart with a medium, clear heart inside equals 15 (10+5), which corresponds to the letter O. Now you try!

Tiny Solid Red Heart = 1

Medium Clear Heart = 5

Big Clear Heart = 10

It’s a mystery how the heart symbol originated, especially since it looks nothing like a human heart. Some people think it comes from the shape that swans’ necks make when they’re courting. Whatever its origin, the heart symbol is almost always drawn red—resembling blood and passion.
