by Callie, 13, from Kansas

“What’s underneath,
When the floor caves in?”

Underneath the unsaved person?
There’s hell,
Gaping at him like a starving monster.

“What’s under me?
My world
Is falling apart, too.
But I’m saved.”

You want to know what’s underneath you
When everything crumbles?
My friend,
Are the everlasting arms.
